Our local charity is dedicated to bringing together the very diverse groups of people we have living in our community to foster a more harmonious and inclusive environment for all its residents; whatever their age, religion, ehnicity, interest, ability, or social background. Our aims and objectives are:

• the promotion of racial and religious harmony by promoting mutual understanding and tolerance;
• working towards the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of race, gender, disability , sexual orientation or religion;
• advancing education and raising awareness in equality and diversity;
• promoting activities and events to foster understanding and tolerance between people from diverse backgrounds, in particular but not exclusively a community festival and events relating to culture;
• cultivating a sentiment in favour of equality and diversity.

We hold events throughout the year including the BIG FREE FAMILY FUN DAY in the summer and various evening social gatherings held at local restaurants to sample the huge range of culinary delights we have available to us right on our doorstep. We also hold monthly meetings where we hear what many local groups are getting up to.
